MOGA 2024 Event Highlights Conservative Momentum in Southern Oregon

MEDFORD, Ore., June 23, 2024 — The Jackson County Republican Party proudly hosted, also known as MOGA 2024 (Make Oregon Great Again) on Saturday, June 22, at the Jackson County Expo. Drawing an estimated attendance of nearly 1,000 enthusiastic participants and 21,000 online at the peak of the livestream, the event highlighted the momentum Republicans are building in Southern Oregon ahead of the critical election year.

Headlined by My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell, the day-long gathering featured a diverse lineup of speakers, including local and state elected officials, that addressed critical national and local issues, as well as recent Emmy Winner Dave Duquette. Lindell’s keynote speech emphasized the importance of election integrity in the upcoming Presidential election. “I wanted to come here to Oregon because every state and every county is as important as the next one. It’s not about swing states, it’s about voters having hope.” said Lindell.

Andy Pollack, a school safety activist whose daughter Meadow was a victim of the Parkland shooting, delivered an emotional address highlighting the urgent need for school safety reforms. “We must protect our children by ensuring our schools are safe places for learning,” Pollack urged.

John Lott, President of the Crime Prevention Research Center, provided expert analysis on the relationship between law enforcement policies and crime rates, while recent Emmy winner Dave Duquette of Western Justice discussed essential legal reforms to support law enforcement and public safety. “Rural America faces unique challenges that require grassroots effort and a commitment to preserving our way of life,” said Duquette.

The event also featured notable speakers such as Joe Hoft from The Gateway Pundit, Donna Kreitzberg from Education Freedom for Oregon, and Sarah Phillips, the vibrant leader of the Young Republicans of Oregon. Local and regional elected officials engaged with attendees, offering insights into the political landscape and fostering community connections.

Nashville recording artist Mark Mackay provided musical entertainment, celebrating American heritage and the spirit of freedom through his performance. “We’re always happy to be part of events like this with like-minded people who love music and love their country,” Mackay stated.

“This event isn’t just a conference; it’s a wake-up call to conservatives throughout Oregon and beyond to stand up for our values of freedom, safety, and governance,” said Randell Embertson, Executive Director of the Jackson County Republican Party. “We are proud to host an event that inspires and mobilizes Southern Oregon for the upcoming challenges.”

The momentum from MOGA 2024 comes on the heels of the recent defeat of a ballot initiative that would have restructured county government, a victory that many attendees see as a sign of growing Republican strength in the region.

  1. This needs to happen again; further north and in the coastal area counties. The Democrats have a lock on the Voting block due to lack of of Republican meassaging and vissability. You Have an “older” population who have no idea that “their” Democratic party no longer exists ( ignorance is bliss) their values however, are reflected by the current Republican platform. “Big Brother” is Big government and the AP wireservice is its mouthpiece.

Thank you for your thoughts and support to our County. The call is to everyone to get involved in our political process as this government is for the people, by the people and of the people. It is time to Get Out The Vote and big too big to rig this November.
