Meet The New Jackson County Republican Officers!

Medford, Oregon January 13, 2025 – Hello and Happy 2025! It looks to be a stellar four years for Republicans and your Jackson County Republican Party could not be more excited to help continue President-Elect Donald J. Trump’s Red mandate right here locally.

The year starts with a fresh, new slate of elected Republican officers who, with your help, are ready and eager to create a dynamic Party.

 

Meet the New Officers:

 

Chair – Joyce Michelangelo.

Joyce is the newly elected Chair of the Jackson County Republicans. She joined the Army after high school, trained in Satellite Communications and stayed on as an instructor. After leaving the military, she worked on contracts for the Defense Industry for more than 25 years. Joyce became a Light Rail Signal Maintainer and eventually a Communications Systems Analyst. She retired and moved to Oregon in 2018. Joyce’s leadership brings a professional and encompassing approach to the Jackson County Republican Party, welcoming both new and seasoned Republicans in Jackson County to Make America Great Again!

 

Vice Chair – Colleen Roberts

Colleen is a current Jackson County Commissioner. She has a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance – Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – University of Phoenix. Colleen has served ten years as a Jackson County Commissioner. She is a native Southern Oregonian, lifelong Republican, a previous small business owner, a parent and a grandmother of 15. Colleen’s a Precinct Committee Person, Precinct 41.

 

Treasurer – Charlie Allen

Charlie graduated from Penn State with a degree in mechanical engineering. He worked 20 years in private heavy industry in Pennsylvania. In 2001, he moved to Portland to work for the U.S Army Corps of Engineers. He retired in 2017. He looks forward to working with JCRP to address conservative values in Jackson County and beyond.

 

Secretary – Vickie Westbrooks

Vickie has a diverse background in administrative roles. She served in the United States Air Force as an Administrative Specialist showcasing her commitment to service and organization. She has extensive experience in the legal field, having worked for several law firms in Medford. She has served with the Jackson County Republican Party as Secretary since November 2022.
